Sports Events

We love sport at Mangatangi School and have regular events throughout the year. Many of our children go on to compete at inter school, regional  and even national levels.

Term 1 - Senior Swimming Sports and School Triathlon

Term 3 - School Cross Country

Term 4 - School Athletics and Mangatangi Tennis Shield

We often have specialist coaches come to school and run training sessions with class groups - hockey, basketball, netball, touch rugby just to name a few.

Our Year 2 - 8 children participate in regular sports fun days and taster sessions with our local schools.
